We are pleased to announce the photographers who have reached the Semifinal stage in all categories of the competition. They were selected by the URBAN 2026 Jury<\/strong>, chaired by Mark Power<\/strong> for the Projects & Portfolios<\/strong> category and Christopher Morris<\/strong> for the Single Photos<\/strong> category.<\/p>\n

The next stages of the competition will see the Finalists <\/strong>announced by the end of July<\/strong>, followed by the much-anticipated Winners Shortlist <\/strong>in mid-September<\/strong>. The competition will conclude with the URBAN Award Ceremony,<\/strong> taking place on Saturday, October 24, 2026<\/strong>, in Trieste, as part of the Trieste Photo Days<\/strong> festival.<\/p>\n

Congratulations <\/strong>to all the Semifinalists, selected from nearly 20,000 images<\/strong> submitted by around 5,000 photographers<\/strong> from around the world, across Single Photos, Projects & Portfolios, and books for the Book Award. Our sincere thanks go to everyone who took part in this edition, for the commitment and quality of the work submitted.<\/p>\n
