After months of anticipation, thousands of entries from talented photographers around the world and weeks of careful voting by an outstanding international jury, the URBAN Photo Awards is proud to unveil the <\/span>2025 Winners Shortlist<\/b>!<\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s selection showcases the very best of the competition, with images chosen from an unprecedented volume of high-quality submissions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spotlights are now firmly on URBAN\u2019s two main categories \u2013 <\/span>Single Pictures<\/b> and <\/span>Projects & Portfolios<\/b> \u2013 as the race to the podium enters its final stretch.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

What the Winners Shortlist Represents<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Winners Shortlist highlights photographers who have earned one of the following recognitions: <\/span>Winner<\/b>, <\/span>Honourable Mention<\/b> or <\/span>Remarkable Reward<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The URBAN jury has examined each entry with great care, assessing images and projects through a rigorous selection process. To keep the suspense alive until the final ceremony, the Shortlist is published in alphabetical order, divided by category.<\/span><\/p>\n

The winners will be revealed on <\/span>Saturday 25 October 2025<\/b> during the <\/span>URBAN Photo Awards Ceremony<\/b>, held within the framework of <\/span>Trieste Photo Days <\/i><\/b><\/a>. The ceremony will be open to the public and streamed live on our social channels.<\/span><\/p>\n

Record Numbers in 2025<\/b><\/h3>\n

The URBAN Photo Awards continues to grow year after year. In 2025 the competition received <\/span>10,685 single photographs<\/b>, <\/span>643 projects and portfolios<\/b> and <\/span>90 books<\/b> from over <\/span>5,000 photographers worldwide<\/b>, reflecting an ever-rising standard of work.<\/span><\/p>\n

URBAN has become a true international hub for contemporary photography, connecting a global community of authors and enthusiasts beyond the digital sphere.<\/span><\/p>\n

A heartfelt thank-you goes to our jury, whose expertise and dedication ensured a meticulous and thoughtful evaluation of the entries, ensuring the outstanding quality of this year\u2019s Shortlist.<\/span><\/p>\n
