Here are the author’s words on Drowned Choice<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n

“In May 2023, Emilia Romagna region was hit by the most extensive flood our nation has ever experienced. In just a few days, an area of tens of square kilometers found itself submerged by meters of water.\u00a0 Many towns found themselves with water channels instead of roads, lakes instead of squares, swimming pools instead of basements and garages. The damages are\u00a0still incalculable, after a year you can still see the marks that the flood left in those territories. A whole landscape that has been completely changed in its urban structure and the complex social systems of the towns we are used to living in. Climate change and neglect of the land were the main factors that allowed this tragedy to occur, both of which can be traced solely and exclusively to one cause: the human being and his tracotence to be superior to the environment around him, which leads him to make wrong choices every time.”<\/div><\/div>\n
