Adam Pretty<\/b> is an expert in photography planning and design, and one of the most innovative and influential sports photographers.<\/span><\/p>\n

His pre-eminence in the fields of action photography and sports reportage has been recognised worldwide. <\/span>
\n<\/span>Adam will be part of the <\/span>Jury Committee<\/b> for the <\/span>URBAN Photo Awards 2024<\/b>, and will help choose the winner of the \u201cProjects and Portfolio\u201d section. He will also be a special guest at the <\/span>International Photography Festival<\/span><\/i> Trieste Photo Days 2024, where he will award the winner at the official Ceremony. <\/span><\/p>\n

Adam Pretty began his career as a photojournalist<\/b> in Australia before transitioning to Getty Images,<\/b> driven by his passion for sports photography. He has worked in Sydney, Los Angeles, Beijing, <\/b>and Tokyo<\/b>, and currently resides in Munich<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout his career, he <\/span>captured numerous professional sporting events <\/b>– including several <\/span>Olympics<\/b> and the <\/span>Doha Aquatics Championships<\/b> in February 2024 – and earned a total of <\/span>64 international awards<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n
