Photography critic<\/strong>, editor and curator<\/strong>, she deals with exhibition and publishing projects<\/strong> within visual culture. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Benedetta<\/strong> is the Director of the Romano Cagnoni Award<\/em> \u2013 International Photojournalism Award<\/strong> and she is a member of the Romano Cagnoni Foundation Board of Directors<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In 2010 she has been included in the list of Expert Consultants of the ICCD<\/strong> – <\/span><\/span>Istituto Centrale per il Catalogo e la Documentazione<\/span><\/span> del MiC – Ministero della Cultura (<\/span><\/span>Central Institute for the Catalogue and Documentation of the Italian Ministry of Culture<\/i><\/span><\/span>).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Since the same year she is president of pianoBI. Since 2012 she has been a member of Progetto Donne e Futuro<\/strong> (<\/span><\/span>Women and Future Project<\/span><\/span><\/em>), for which she represents the Women and Art section. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Among the different organizations and entities with she collaborated: the production company Giart<\/strong> for the<\/span><\/span> Fotografia Italiana<\/i><\/span><\/span> documentary film series, distributed by Contrasto<\/strong>; Istituto dell’Enciclopedia Treccani<\/strong> for which she worked on the <\/span><\/span>Contemporary Japanese Photography<\/i><\/span><\/span> section, included in the publication Enciclopedia dell’Arte Contemporanea<\/strong>, 2021 (<\/span><\/span>Enciclopedia of Contemporary Art); <\/i><\/span><\/span>Nikon Italia<\/strong> and Corriere della Sera<\/strong> newspaper for the series \u201cAccademia di Fotografia\u201d, 2022 \u2013 2023.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In 2021 she won RESET Call for Papers<\/strong>, promoted by Sistema Festival Fotografia, launched as part of the 2020 competition notice Strategia Fotografia of the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity (DGCC) of the Italian Ministry of Culture (MiC).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Portfolio reviewer, member of the jury in international events, she is among LOBA – Leica Oskar Barnack Award nominators<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
