After three editions dedicated to urban architecture of the new millennium, the Architecture Photography Prize<\/strong> promoted by Matrix4Design<\/strong><\/a> evolves: no longer the New Buildings but the Icons of Architecture<\/strong>, that is, the iconic buildings that have contributed to writing the history of architecture, become the subjects of the shots in the competition.
\nThe proposed photographs will show buildings<\/strong> created by the great names in international architecture<\/strong>, capturing their identity from a novel point of view and providing an original interpretation.
\nThey may portray the building in its entirety or a detail of it, as long as this is representative of the iconic specificity of the project.<\/p>\n

The Photography Prize<\/strong> is dedicated to the great works of world architecture<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To participate simply tag Icons of Architecture (Matrix4Design<\/a> award) Single Photos<\/strong> in the SPACES<\/strong> category. Entries open until May 31, 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Andrea Boni<\/strong>, publisher of Matrix4Design. will again be on the URBAN<\/strong> jury to evaluate the competing photos and draw up the shortlist of 30 Icons of Architecture<\/strong> selectees, to be announced in late June, and the subsequent ranking of finalists, in late July.<\/p>\n

The winning photo will be announced in September and will be exhibited and awarded in Trieste at the final URBAN Photo Awards exhibition (late October, during Trieste Photo Days). A selection of the best Icons of Architecture<\/strong> photos will also be published in the URBAN unveils – Vol. 09,<\/strong> which will contain the best of the 2023 contest.<\/p>\n

The author of the winning shot will receive a \u20ac500 Amazon voucher<\/strong> and will be hosted for 2 nights in Trieste during the Trieste Photo Days<\/strong>, to attend the contest award ceremony.<\/p>\n

Matrix4Design<\/strong><\/a>, which shares with URBAN Photo Awards the feeling and approach to the world of art and photography, was born in 2016 from the desire of Editrice Industriale to create a digital magazine capable of acting as a point of reference for the world of architecture and design and to tune in real time with new trends in design, studying new ways to tell its developments and changes without renouncing contamination with other forms of creativity, including photography.<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
