{"id":23993,"date":"2022-06-17T12:06:40","date_gmt":"2022-06-17T10:06:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.urbanphotoawards.com\/?p=23993"},"modified":"2022-07-28T12:18:35","modified_gmt":"2022-07-28T10:18:35","slug":"urban-photo-awards-2022-submissions-closed-thank-you-everyone","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.urbanphotoawards.com\/en\/urban-photo-awards-2022-submissions-closed-thank-you-everyone\/","title":{"rendered":"URBAN Photo Awards 2022: submissions closed, thank you everyone!"},"content":{"rendered":"Submissions for <strong>URBAN Photo Awards 2022<\/strong> are officially closed.<\/p>\n<p>We take this opportunity to thank the <strong>2,800 photographers from all over the world<\/strong> who have chosen to test themselves with our contest and wish them sincere good luck!<\/p>\n<p>We are extremely satisfied with the success of this thirteenth edition, both in terms of the quality of the works and numbers: <strong>10,000 photos<\/strong> in the competition (145 of which for the <em>New Buildings<\/em> special prize), almost <strong>400 projects<\/strong> and over <strong>100 books<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.urbanphotoawards.com\/jury-2022\/\"><strong>jury<\/strong><\/a> is already at work: the <strong>Selected Photographer<\/strong>s will be published shortly and the <strong>Semifinalists <\/strong>will be published by mid-July. At the end of July it will be the turn of the <strong>Finalist<\/strong>s and in mid-September the <strong>Shortlist <\/strong>will finally be announced.<\/p>\n<p>As usual, each ranking will be in alphabetical order: we will reveal the final podium on <strong>Saturday 29 October 2022<\/strong> at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.triestephotodays.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><strong>Trieste Photo Days<\/strong><\/a> festival, in north-eastern Italy. On that occasion, <strong>Susan Meiselas<\/strong>, <strong>Shobha <\/strong>and <strong>Nino Migliori<\/strong> will personally award the winners of the contest.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the winners exhibition, <strong>Trieste Photo Days<\/strong> will host various <strong>exhibit\/previews<\/strong> with the best photos of URBAN 2022 (as part of <strong>Trieste Photo Fringe<\/strong> and <strong>Photo Days Tour<\/strong>).
