I’d like to enter URBAN Photo Awards 2022. Am I still in time?

Yes but hurry up! Subissions are open until Sunday, June 12th, 2022.

Can I submit only 1 photo?

Sure, photographers can participate with as many pictures as they want.

Is the Free Photo promo still active?

No, that promo expired on May 31, 2022.

Can I submit a free-theme project?

Of course, we have a section dedicated to Projects, Series, Reportages, Portfolios, etc. Please note: maximum of twelve photos for each project.

Just Twelve photos? I have a project with more than eighty images that I care a lot, how can I propose it for URBAN 2022?

You can submit it for the Book Awards section. We accept both pdf and photo sequences. Susan Meiselas herself will choose and award the winning project, which we will publish as a printed volume!

Will my photo be displayed?

Only if it ranks among the Winners. However, Selected Photographers could join Trieste Photo Fringe and Photo Days Tour special exhibits and become part of our book URBAN Unveils the City and its Secrets.

Who will judge my works?

An international jury chaired by photography superstars Susan Meiselas (Magnum Photos), Nino Migliori and Shobha. Among the jurors we also have Jérôme Sessini, Alexandra Sophie, Manfred Baumann, Nick Turpin and many others.

Ok, but WHY enter URBAN Photo Awards?

Because we give photographers real visibility.

Because we organize an International Photo Festival: Trieste Photo Days.

Because of the prize pool.

Or, in short words, we truly care about photography.
