Here you can also enter the New Buildings Prize (Matrix4design) and the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival Prize.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/div><\/div>
\n\"\"<\/span>\u00bb SECTION #1 \u00bb SINGLE PHOTOS: NEW BUILDINGS<\/b><\/span>Photos representing some of the symbols of architecture that have helped change the look of the city over the past ten years. If you wish to enter, you will only have to add the category New Buildings (Matrix4Design prize) to the Single Photos running in the category SPACES. Pictures will be judged by Matrix4Design editor Andrea Boni , who will select a shortlist of the best photos and the Winner.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/div><\/div>
\n\"\"<\/span>\u00bb SECTION #1 \u00bb SINGLE PHOTOS: TRIESTE SCIENCE+FICTION FESTIVAL<\/b><\/span>Artistic photographs freely inspired by science fiction in our daily life. Space for creativity, post-production, photo editing, mixed media: alien planets, visions from the future, technological cities, spaceships, robots, parallel universes, time travel, everything related to science fiction imagery and the science fiction that our reality offers. If you wish to enter, you will only have to add the category Science+Fiction (Trieste Science+Fiction Festival Prize) to the Single Photos competing in the CREATIVE category. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/div><\/div>
\n\"\"<\/span>\u00bb SECTION #2 \u00bb PROJECTS & PORTFOLIOS<\/b><\/span>Here you can submit sets of photos, linked to each other by a common trait. The sets can be in the form of photographic projects, series, thematic portfolios, reportages and storyboards (sequences of images telling a story).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n
\n\"\"<\/span>\u00bb SECTION #2 \u00bb PROJECTS & PORTFOLIOS: TRIESTE MUSEUMS PRIZE<\/b><\/span>4 Semifinalists projects will be selected by a special jury and exhibited in October 2021 at the prestigious Civic Museum \u201cSartorio\u201d of Trieste, during Trieste Photo Days festival.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/div><\/div>
\n\"\"<\/span>\u00bb SECTION #2 \u00bb PROJECTS & PORTFOLIOS: POREC MUSEUM PRIZE<\/b><\/span> 1 ranked project from the \u201cProjects & Portfolios\u201d section \u2013 selected directly by the curators of the museum \u2013 will be displayed in Zavi\u010dajni muzej Pore\u0161tine, in Porec, Istria (Croatia), at the end of July 2021.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/div><\/div>
\n\"\"<\/span>\u00bb SECTION #3 \u00bb URBAN BOOK AWARD<\/b><\/span>URBAN Book Award is a new section, dedicated to extended projects, inspired by the theme Urban Life: Urban Photography. Authors can here compete with drafts of their own photographic books, in pdf format. The goal is to give the winning photographer the possibility to produce and promote their own authorial project internationally. It will be published as a paper book by dotART \/ URBAN and officially presented during the festival Trieste Photo Days 2021.
\nThe new section URBAN Book Award is designed for photographers that feel the limit of 12 photos set for the Projects & Portfolio section as a restraint, and would like to submit extended projects (or larger versions of the same projects already competing in the Projects & Portfolio section).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/div><\/div>
\n\"\"<\/span>\u00bb SECTION #4 \u00bb BRUCE GILDEN SPECIAL PRIZE<\/b><\/span>Special section in honor of the president of the jury Bruce Gilden and his characteristic street photography. The section is open to street photography Projects \/ Portfolios \/ Series destined to be part of a prestigious photographic volume edited by Bruce Gilden himself. The volume will contain 7-8 portfolios selected by him, along with one of his unpublished projects, and will be presented in preview at Trieste Photo Days 2021. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/div><\/div>
\n\"\"<\/span>BEST AUTHOR<\/b><\/span>The photographer who will rank among the best in several sections, thematic areas and\/or categories, giving proof of its clear, definite style, will be declared URBAN 2021 Best Author. The prizes include:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n
