Selection was made on the basis of criteria that combine formal care of the shot with the emotional power of the image. Each photograph stands out from the others for its innovative visual research and the ability to communicate the architectural identity of the building in its original context, in harmony with the spirit of the Matrix4Design magazine.<\/p>\n

We are also pleased to announce that the finalist photos will be exhibited at Solferino Lab<\/strong><\/a>, the Milanese showroom of FIMA<\/strong> – Carlo Frattini<\/strong>, Megius<\/strong> and Scarabeo<\/strong> located in via Solferino 36 in Milan, Italy, from September 28 to October 10, 2020.<\/p>\n

The New Buildings<\/strong> award, born in 2020 from the partnership between URBAN Photo Awards<\/strong> and Matrix4design<\/strong>, is dedicated to the icons of architecture that have changed the face of cities in the past ten years. The images were selected by the Matrix4Design editor Andrea Boni<\/strong> and the photographer Federica Nardese<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
