Italian cultural association dotART<\/strong><\/a> promotes the 10th edition of URBAN Photo Awards contest.<\/p>\n The competition is open to all and features two distinct sections, one for Themed photos<\/strong>, one for Projects, Portfolios & Series<\/strong>. It is possible to participate in both sections. Section for single themed photos included in one of following thematic areas and categories:<\/p>\n STREETS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The many aspects of the urban fabric and the lives that inhabit it.<\/p>\n Categories<\/em><\/p>\n Post-production: allowed PEOPLE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The human body, posing or caught fleetingly on the road.<\/p>\n Categories<\/em><\/p>\n Post-production: allowed SPACES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Urban spaces, buildings, streets, shapes and geometries, industrial archaeology.<\/p>\n Categories<\/em><\/p>\n Post-production: allowed CREATIVE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Artistic, experimental, visionary photos outside previous thematic areas.<\/p>\n Categorie<\/em><\/p>\n Post-production: allowed Each participant can submit as many photos as he wants<\/strong>, with no number limits per thematic area. Section in which you can propose a set of photos with Urban Photography<\/strong><\/em> subject: thematic portfolios, photojournalism and storyboards (sequences of images that tell a story). The photographer is free to choose the topic, style, setting and subjects they prefer. Along with the photos, will have to write a brief description of its project (in English – you can use Google Translate<\/a>). Jury President Martin Parr<\/strong> will personally choose and award URBAN 2019 Winner. \nThe contest\u2019s main theme is Urban Photography<\/strong><\/em>, that explores all photography forms set in the urban fabric. The star of the show: the City<\/strong>. \nFor each photo, the participant have to assign one of the four thematic areas and categories, to better categorize his work.
