About NOTICE Journal, Volume 2
NOTICE Journal, Volume 2 is a photo book drawn from a body of work made in Ukraine in the summer of 2025, published by New Style Publishing. The images were shot on a 1964 Olympus Pen-F half-frame camera, which produces two side-by-side frames on a single 35mm negative, creating in-camera diptychs that pair moments of daily life as they unfold. The project documents ordinary rhythms of living in a country at war: meals, gardens, family, work, rest. It is the third book in the NOTICE series, following NOTICE (2021) and NOTICE Journal, Volume One (2024), and will be published in October 2026.
