URBAN Photo Awards, the category Projects & Portfolios
The Projects & Portfolios category of the international URBAN Photo Awards contest offers photographers the opportunity to present a series of photos that share a common theme or element. This section of the contest is perfect for photographers who wish to showcase a complete photographic project, a thematic portfolio, a photo reportage, a series of images that tell a story, or a storyboard.
Participants can submit a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 12 photos, in either color or black and white. Post-production and photo editing are allowed at the author’s discretion. A brief description of the project in English is also required.
Projects can cover any aspect of urban life, from architecture to fashion, from people to streets, from city icons to nightlife. The jury will evaluate both the visual impact of the photos and the coherence and quality of the project.
This category is the perfect opportunity for photographers to explore a theme or idea in greater depth, to tell a story through a sequence of images, or to showcase a complete portfolio. Both emerging and professional photographers are encouraged to participate, and each contestant can submit as many portfolios as they wish.
