URBAN Photo Awards 2026: Semifinalists Announced
We are pleased to announce the photographers who have reached the Semifinal stage in all categories of the competition. They were selected by the URBAN 2026 Jury, chaired by Mark Power for the Projects & Portfolios category and Christopher Morris for the Single Photos category.
The next stages of the competition will see the Finalists announced by the end of July, followed by the much-anticipated Winners Shortlist in mid-September. The competition will conclude with the URBAN Award Ceremony, taking place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in Trieste, as part of the Trieste Photo Days festival.
Congratulations to all the Semifinalists, selected from nearly 20,000 images submitted by around 5,000 photographers from around the world, across Single Photos, Projects & Portfolios, and books for the Book Award. Our sincere thanks go to everyone who took part in this edition, for the commitment and quality of the work submitted.
