URBAN Photo Arena: a Photography Challenge for Young Talents

URBAN Photo Arena is the section of the international URBAN Photo Awards dedicated to young photographers under 35, offering a unique opportunity to showcase and gain recognition for their talent. In collaboration with PAG – Progetto Area Giovani of the Municipality of Trieste, the contest invites entrants to express their creativity by submitting a single photo with no thematic restrictions.

URBAN Photo Arena stands out for its innovative format: modelled on some of the most important sporting tournaments, it features an initial group stage followed by a thrilling knockout tournament, where photos compete head to head. The progress of the contest will be visible to everyone on the URBAN website, with constant ranking updates. The semi-finals and final will take place live during Trieste Photo Days, where a jury will determine the winning photograph.

URBAN Photo Arena aims to support the next generation of photographers, offering a dedicated section within an internationally acclaimed contest, with valuable prizes and meaningful networking opportunities.

Photographers under 35 will also have the chance to exhibit their work during Trieste Photo Days: a privileged stage to gain international visibility and have their talent recognised.
