URBAN 2020 Semi-finalist Photographers announced
Good news! After the publication of the Selected Photographers we have reached the second step of the path that will lead us to the Winners of URBAN 2020 Photo Awards.
Below you can find the Semi-finalist Photographers for each category, result of the average of the votes of our super-jury. Congratulations to all!
This year as well, to increase the suspense, we decided not to reveal immediately the ranking: photographers are published in alphabetical order.
The third step will be the Finalist Photographers, that will be announced by the end of July. Winners will be announced in September. We will unveil the final podium directly at the URBAN 2020’s Award Ceremony during Trieste Photo Days.
In the next days we will also announce:
- The Finalists of the New Buildings prize, promoted together with Matrix4design (here you can find the shortlist of Selected photos)
- The 4 selected projects of the prize-exhibition “Civic Museums of Trieste”, thanks to the partnership with the Civic Museums of History and Art of the Municipality of Trieste. Projects will be selected by Laura Carlini Fanfogna (director of the Museums and Libraries Service of the Municipality of Trieste) and Claudia Colecchia (Head of the Photographic Library of the Civic Museums of History and Art of the Municipality of Trieste) and displayed at the end of October at the prestigious “Civico Museo Sartorio”, as part of the Trieste Photo Days festival.
