Nick Turpin will choose the URBAN Book Award winner!

The great British street photographer Nick Turpin will be the third member of the super-jury commission, and will personally choose the winner of the URBAN Book Award section. Together with him, President of the Jury Alex Webb, who will choose the Single Photos section’s Winner, and Rebecca Norris Webb, who will choose the Project & Portfolio section’s Winner.

Last year at Trieste Photo Days festival, Nick has chosen the TPD Book Award 2019 winner, the prize that gave rise to the current URBAN Book Award. The principle is unchanged: to give the winning photographer the opportunity to produce and promote their authorial photographic project internationally, which will be published as a paper volume by dotART / URBAN and officially presented during Trieste Photo Days 2020.

If you feel the limit of 12 photos set for the Projects & Portfolio section as a restraint, this is the section where you can propose larger projects conceived as “dummy”, or rather drafts of photographic books, whether they are pdf with the defined framework, or sequences of photos.
