Michela Messina (Trieste, 1972), an art historian, a graduate of the University of Trieste and a specialist at the University of Pisa, has been a managing curatorial officer at the Civic Museums of History and Art of Trieste since 2000. She has to her credit the curatorship of museum exhibitions and displays, monographic publications and contributions in national and international volumes and specialist journals, with a focus on Western and Eastern applied arts and the cultural history of textiles and costume. His latest monograph is Chinese Porcelain. A Guide to the Collection of the Civic Museum of Oriental Art in Trieste (Trieste, 2019). 2019).
