Born in 1981 in Starachowice (Poland), he resides and works in Dublin (Ireland) for over a decade. Photographer, curator, TEDx speaker, educator, founder and chief editor of prism – editorial collective dedicated to contemporary photography, currently represented by e-magazine, photo blog and curatorial initiative and Pangean Path – a research hub dedicated to expansion of cognitive intelligence based on four pillars of inspiration disciplines of: Art, Science, Travelling and Spirituality. In the past he worked as theatrical photographer and journalist for The Grotowski in Wroclaw, Poland. He also works in e-learning and development fields and provides talks and classes on various subject from photography to personal development to visual language in relation to social media to online related and generated content. He curated various individual and group exhibitions during PhotoIreland Festival, collaborated journalistically with Warsaw Photo Days, Belfast Photo Festival and TIFF Festival and worked as portfolio reviewer during Le Mois de la Photo à Montréal, Canada. He also works as a studio photographer, his main field of artistic exploration is body language and how it is used as a tool of expression and emotional release. He is represented by The Copper House Gallery Dublin alongside established names from Irish contemporary photographic scene. Karol is a graduate of International Relations and Visual Advertising. He loves adrenaline-pumped adventures and in his free time he explores the fields of archaeology, astronomy, theoretical physics and science.
