At Sala Xenia in Trieste, visitors explore Fabio Domenicali’s raw nocturnal black-and-white journey through Poland (24–26 October 2025), a work that moves between memory and the present. From the traces of the twentieth century, including occupation, Shoah, and Soviet rule, to quiet interiors, encounters, and solemn winter landscapes, the exhibition reveals a poetic coexistence of history and humanity. Photographed during the winters of 2008 and 2023, the series is accompanied by a reflection by Antonio Tabucchi and an introduction by Denis Curti.
