Dimpy Bhalotia

Dimpy Bhalotia (1987)  is one of the most influential and celebrated photographers of this generation. An award-winning photographer and creative director, Dimpy has redefined contemporary photography with her striking street, portrait, and documentary work. Her ability to capture raw human connection and urban life with depth and authenticity has earned her global recognition.

Dimpy’s career reached a breakthrough when she won the Grand Prize Award at the IPPAWARDS 2020 for her iconic photograph “Flying Boys,” making her the first Indian to receive this honour. The image’s cultural impact was profound, with Apple CEO Tim Cook praising it as “outstanding work.” L’Officiel described it as “now the most famous photograph.” She has won over 24 prestigious awards globally, including the Female in Focus Award from the British Journal of Photography.

Dimpy’s expertise extends to curatorial and leadership roles. She served as President of the ADC (Art Directors Club) 103rd Annual Awards Photography Jury for The One Club of Creativity, highlighting her influence within the global creative community. Her work has been exhibited at leading galleries, including the International Center of Photography in New York and the APRE Art House in Mumbai.
