Counting Down to Trieste Photo Days 2026: the Best of the URBAN Photo Awards is Back on Display! (updating…)

As Trieste Photo Days 2026 draws closer, a series of photography exhibitions curated by URBAN Photo Awards will guide the public towards the upcoming festival in October, offering a rich programme of photographic previews across the city and the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.

The exhibitions will showcase a selection of the most compelling images from the prestigious international contest, offering viewers the chance to immerse themselves in contemporary urban photography through the eyes of artists from around the world.

Key Dates to Save as Trieste Photo Days approach

Trieste Airport
7 August – 30 September 2026
The collaboration with Trieste Airport continues, with a new group exhibition on view in the exhibition area on the first floor of the terminal. Designed to welcome both travellers and visitors between flights, it is set in a space that has become a true symbol of the connection between travel, art and local culture. Admission is free, during airport opening hours.

The journey towards Trieste Photo Days 2026, running from 22 to 25 October, has officially begun. More events and exhibitions will be revealed in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
