Announcing the 2025 URBAN Photo Awards Semifinalists

Today, we are delighted to unveil the photographers who have advanced to the Semifinalist round across all categories: Single Photos, Projects & Portfolios, the prestigious Matt Black Special Prize Projects & Portfolios, and the URBAN Book Award. The journey continues with heightened anticipation as we progress to the next stages of the competition. The Finalists will be revealed by the end of July, followed by the highly anticipated Winners Shortlist in mid-September.

The culmination of this year’s competition will be celebrated at the URBAN Award Ceremony, set to take place on Saturday, October 25, within the vibrant cultural landscape of Trieste during the renowned Trieste Photo Days festival.
